Dad's are like sunflowers in the garden, head and shoulders above the rest. My dad was my hero, missing him always and forever.My dad worked hard for the family, he was a loving husband to Ruby, a dad to 4 girl's, father-in-law to Fred, and Joe, and granda to Gary, Aarron,Corey,Mattie, and Ruby-jo. he loved his bowls, and taught the juniors at his club in thornliebank. he loved playing pool in the winter, he also loved a punt on the horses and a pint.The night before he passed, his sister Hilly died, both with cancer. Auntie Hilton suffered for a few years, dad was diagnosed on 9th june had some radiotherapy, and passed away peacefully with the family at home, on mum's birthday 6th august. He is loved and missed very much, by everyone. always in our thought's. Always and forever love diane xx

Hi it's Anne Dempsey Quinn here, I only recently heard of your passing, I would just like to say I hold you and Mrs Kirk fondly in my childhood memories, I remember how much of a joker you were, and always made me feel comfortable in your home, as I visited Diane (played) haha I sound too old to be saying that. I am sure you are both together and looking down on your girls and their families, if you meet up with my Dad and Mum be sure to say hello they like yourselves both loved to dance.
